The history of Red Bull Racing
Red Bull Racing is one of the most exciting and competitive teams in modern Formula 1. The team was founded in 2005 when the energy drink company Red Bull purchased the Jaguar Racing team. From the beginning, Red Bull aimed to bring a new, youthful energy to the sport, combining innovative engineering with a bold brand identity. Based in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, the team quickly grew into a major force in Formula 1.

Red Bull Racing experienced its most dominant period between 2010 and 2013, when the team won four consecutive Constructors’ Championships and Drivers’ Championships with Sebastian Vettel. During this era, Red Bull cars were known for their aerodynamic efficiency and cutting-edge design, largely influenced by legendary car designer Adrian Newey. This period firmly established Red Bull Racing as one of Formula 1’s elite teams.
By 2020, Red Bull Racing had transitioned into a new generation of drivers and technology. The team partnered with Honda for its engine supply, marking a significant step toward returning to championship-winning form. With strong technical leadership and a talented driver lineup, Red Bull continued to challenge the dominant teams on the grid.
